About California Institute of Etiquette

Who We Are
The California Institute of Etiquette was founded in 2009 with a simple yet powerful belief: confidence, respect, and awareness shape how we experience the world—and how the world responds to us.
In an increasingly fast-paced, digital-first society, etiquette is no longer about rigid rules or outdated formality. It is about understanding people, navigating situations with ease, and showing up with intention. California Institute of Etiquette exists to make modern etiquette practical, relevant, and approachable for everyday life.
Why We Were Founded
The Institute was created to address a growing gap in communication, professionalism, and social awareness across personal, professional, and public settings. As workplaces evolved, cultures blended, and technology changed how people interact, many individuals found themselves unsure of expectations—or anxious about making the wrong impression.
California Institute of Etiquette was founded to remove that uncertainty.
Our goal is to help individuals feel prepared rather than pressured, confident rather than self-conscious, and empowered rather than intimidated—whether they are entering a boardroom, attending a social event, hosting a formal meal, or navigating everyday interactions.
Our Objective
Our objective is to equip individuals and organizations with the skills needed to:
- Communicate with clarity, confidence, and respect
- Build strong first impressions and lasting relationships
- Navigate professional, social, and cultural situations with ease
- Understand modern etiquette expectations—both in person and online
- Show consideration for others without losing authenticity
Through training that is inclusive, engaging, and grounded in real-world scenarios, we help etiquette feel natural—not forced.
Our Philosophy
We believe etiquette is not about perfection—it is about awareness. Good manners reflect character, influence perception, and create opportunities. When etiquette is understood and applied thoughtfully, it becomes a powerful tool for personal and professional success. It helps to show up with Confidence – Everywhere and Every day!

“Be willing to be initially uncomfortable to ultimately become more comfortable and successful.”
